Other TV styled lenses (look similar), our minimum solar throughput is 71% and our top Fresnel Lens exceed of 93%. Other lenses on Ebay average 40-65%. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, at 1 sq M you can expect 1000 watts of power at 100% efficiency. Our lenses deliver 70-90+% EFFICIENCY. THIS MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE.
All our selected lenses are tested, UV STABILIZED 3 year+, other lenses deteriorate, fog, or crack within a few months.
The OEM cost on all our lenses range from $300 to $2100. Other type of lenses are about $50 new not for solar. The Cross Impression is no longer in production.
WHITE PLASTIC ABS FRESNEL LENSES ARE NOT SOLAR CONCENTRATORS. THEY DO PRODUCE A FOCAL POINT BUT ONLY WARM FOOD AND CANNOT BOIL ANY WATER. WE DO NOT SELL THESE BECAUSE THEY INSTANTLY CLOUND WITH UV SUN EXPOSURE. GPS only sells UV tested Fresnel Lenses.
