We pack larger parcels in tough white polythene. This is much thicker and stronger than regular mailing bags. We use it because it recycles polythene that would otherwise be thrown away. We will not buy paper for packaging if we can help it - we need trees to hang hammocks from!
Our polythene is sourced from window manufacturers before they throw it away. It might not look pretty but it saves demand for paper and does a far better job. Also, because it is so tough, we do not use secondary wrapping, creating more unnecessary waste. Just bear this in mind when you're unpacking. |
