How come your prices are so low is this too good to be true?
Here at Design 55 we like to give our customers real value for money. We are on the largest discount for all the manufacturers we have accounts with so we can give our customers the best deals and our premises are very modest indeed we do not have a shop on a high street with large rent to pay. This ensures we keep our costs down and we can pass this saving on to our customers.
Are your items 100% authentic?
Yes all our items are 100% authentic and are brand new with all there original packaging. We are officiall stockists of all the brands we mention. We do not sell copys or fakes.
What methods of payment do we accept?
We accept the following payment methods on our online store.
Visa Debit, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Paypal
We also accept payment by bank transfer, please contact us with your order on 01422 375940 or email us at email@example.com with your order and we will give you our bank transfer details.
If you are collecting items from our warehouse you may pay cash on collection.
I do not live in the UK can I still purchase from you?
Yes we can ship items outside of the UK as we have several international couriers we use so that is no problem. Items being shipped outside of the UK mainland do not qualify for free delivery and there will therefore be a postage charge. This amount varies depending on the items weight and size and where it is going to as we sell everything from kettles to dining tables. Can I purchase over the phone?
We understand some customers may not be comfortable with entering credit cards over the internet. This is 100% secure but we understand some customers may want to speak with an individual in our stores and order over the phone. You can do this by clicking on our free callback button on the top left of the screen and one of our friendly members of staff will contact you or you can phone us on 01422 375940. We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week so you can phone us anytime and place an order.
I've seen an item elsewhere but cant find it on your website?
If you have seen a particular item from one of the manufacturers or brands we stock but the item is not available on our website we will be able to get hold of it not a problem. It would be impossible to include every single item from all our manufacturers as there are thousands of products we have access to. Our website is constantly being updated with new products and new suppliers. If you have any suggestions of items you would like to see on our website please get in touch or if there is an item you want but cant find it on our website please email - email@example.com
What is our price match policy?
Seen the exact same item elsewhere online but cheaper in price? We will match that price and that is a promise. This offer does not include items that appear on auctions. We only match ebay fixed price listing or items on other furniture websites where they don't have the items in stock and there is a long waiting time for the item to be delivered.
Can I come and collect my items?
You are able to collect your items from our warehouse from 8.30 a.m until 4.30 p.m Monday to Friday, or you can arrange to collect items outside of these hours by appointment only please call on 01422 375940 to arrange this as we are very flexible so we can arrange a time that best suits you.
What happens if I am unable to be in when a delivery arrives?
We use royal mail for our smaller items and a courier service for larger items. If you are unable to be in and sign for the delivery the postman or courier will leave a calling card through your postbox. If the card is from royal mail it will have details of where you can collect the parcel at the depot / post office. If the card is from one of our courier services your item will be redelivered the next working day this is at the drivers discretion. In some cases the driver may leave the parcel with a neighbour which will be signed for and the courier will notify you of this on the calling card. This is to save both the customer and driver time and inconvenience of having to wait in for the redelivery the next working day.
For some glass and large fragile items we use a third party carrier and this ensures they get there safely. The carrier will phone you and will be able to arrange a delivery date and time to suit your needs this will be prearranged before the item sets off to be delivered.

We are able to deliver items worldwide, we ship lots of items everyday to the EU, USA, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong etc so we are specialists in exporting goods. It is free delivery within the UK mainland. For all other countries please contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org
